Prabhas
Chandra Ray is the one of the leading Educationist
and literary personality in Bengal. He was born on 1st April
on 1949. He had completed his M.A. in 1973. He had obtained Ph.D degree from
Rabindra Bharati University, Calcutta in 1996 for the thesis
on “The Un extinguished Hearth” a study in the mind
and work of Sarat Chandra Bose. Professionally he is the reader
department of Political Science and the vice principal (day)
of Shibpur Dinabandhu Institution (college). He is the life
member of West Bengal Political Science Association. He is the
Co-Ordinator, NSOU'S study centre at the college campus.
He has contributed a lots of articles, research papers, poems and other publications.

2) The Book – “Netaji and India’s
Freedom, A centenary tribute”, published by NIAS, Calcutta,
August 1997.
3) “Article in Hong Kong, Combodia and Afganisthan”
published on ‘News Time’ English daily from Hyderabad
on 8th June, 15th September and 12th December. In 1997 he wrote
study materials of Netaji Subhas Open University BDP course
–paper 1, module 3, paper 4 modules 23
4) An article – “Communal Harmony
and the idea of United Independent in Bengal” on January-June,
2000 in West Bengal Political Science Review, vol-3,no-1
