For a long period he has practiced recitation. He is well attached to All India Radio and Doordarshan, giving very successful recitor among the young group. He has a vast number of students. Beside this has a teacher (recitation) at the Abriti Centre of Bratati Bandapadhya.

Naresh has recited in many places of West Bengal and also in other states such as Delhi, Lucknow, Pune and many more venues. He has also performed in Bangla Sangeet Mela, Rabindra Bharati, Jorasanko and Rajkibata Utsav. He is also in judge in different venues of competition. He is a specialist of “voice over Artist” at E.T.V. Bangla (News).
