VICTORIA
JUTE MILLS established in the year 1885, is one of the oldest jute mill
in West Bengal. It is situated at the west banks of River Ganges at
Telinipara, Police Station and Railway Station is Bhadreshwar in the
District of Hooghly in the State of West Bengal. The Jute Mill is
accessible through Grant Trunk Road in about 1.5 KM and by water ways
from other side of the river Ganges. This jute mill presently run by

Victoria Jute Mill is
having a Quality Control Department, teamed by qualified personnel,
equipped with modern machinery for testing the physical and chemical
properties of Jute Yarn and Fabrics. The results are communicated to the
Managers through computerized reporting system for corrective action, if
any , to be taken by them. Further, being a member of The Indian Jute Industries
Research Association, we take every advantage of its quality testing
system. |
The
Rules and guidelines as laid down by the Pollution Control Board are
strictly maintained.
Supply
of drinking water to the inhabitants outside the Mill Compound,
providing dispensary services on emergency to
outsiders, a take care of health, food, rest, recreation and other
welfare measures for the workers, are a few points to mention worth
towards our Human Resource Development.
