Basically, Bilwadal's root lies is Theatre, where he started his journey in 1979 for the Indian Cultural Forum under Sri Niladri Dasgupta, Director. Whereas the first play for office was staged in the famous STAR THEATRE - "NIKATE PHAND" Director Manu Mukherjee. Bilwadal was highly applauded and subsequently awarded by the noted actor Sri Sailen Mukherjee.

He was then in Rupchakra (1986-89) under Shovanlal Mukherjee. Next he joined PLI under Utpal Dutta, in 1982 he joined AIR as an announcer. Subsequently he became a FM announcer from 2000. Passed Radio Drama 1983.

1992	Got B High Grade in AIR in Drama
1992	News reader in Kolkata Doordarshan (till 1996)
1992	Worked with Dir. Utpalendu Chakraborty in his serial " Bhanga Aaina"
1993	Joined PLT under Sri Utpal Dutta
1993-95	Also worked with Molly Ray and Abhay Pal in their Dance Dramas
1997	Worked in 'SANSKRITI SREYASHKAR' under Ranikarna.
2000	Formed his own group " Kalindi Natya Srijan "
