The insulation material shall be rated as incombustible and shall be tested in accordance with IS : 3144 as applicable. All other physical and chemical properties shall be in accordance with IS : 8183 or IS :3690 for bonded machine stitched mineral wool mattresses , performed pipe sections etc.
