Draw
twisting and Draw texturising are indispensable processes
for imparting twist, bulk and stretch in man-made yarns like
polyester, polyamide etc. for ensuring consecutive processing
into ready textile goods with high service characteristics.
Draw texturising combines the economics of drawing and texturising
steps. This has attracted many researchers which has led to
development of not only the process but also machinery and
its spares development. During texturising process the yarn
is twisted by the friction disc which inserts necessary twist
into the yarn, so that the yarn can get textured. JSH brand

Why Polyurethane
Rubber soft disc are better than ceramic or plasma coated
hard disc ?

Offers much higher amount of friction
therefore more twist.

Softness of PU rubber leads to minimal
fiber abrasion and therefore generation of fluff stuff,
also known as snow, is prevented during processing.

Its has better texturing ability and
imparts better characteristics like desired bulk, loft
and stretch in the yarn.

PU friction discs have certain advantage over other hard discs,
certain special characteristics of JSH brand pu discs makes
it the first choice for texturisers around the world. JSH
friction PU disc has following special properties:

speed rotation due to appropriate grade of polyol and
isocynate.

it more oil resistant, high temperature resistant and
safe against electrostatic charge build up.

allows texturisers to have accurate yarn angle while moving
through the friction unit.
