ABOUT
SADHAN CHATTOPADHYAY |
| He was born in 18th January, 1944 in district Barisha
(now in Bengal)l. Basically he is Science Graduate with Physics
Honours from Calcutta University in 1963. He was the teacher
in Sodepore High School (H.S.) after passing Graduation till
2003. In the days of Seventees, he had bocome a popular writer
in that golden age. He is the unique writer with a different
world view in area of Bengali literature. He is the sociology-based
writer. So he has the unique identity in cultural world for
his unique creation in writing. Till now, he has composed above
five hundreds short stories & above two hunderd essays on
literature, culture & social science and about 15 nos. of
Novels about rural bengal society, education, public health
etc. These unique conceptual writing creation has been strengthen
our Bengali Literature. In 1995, he has achieved the "Somen
Chandra Smriti Award" in 2005, he has achieved the best
literacy award "Bankim Chandra Award" from West Bengal
Govt. for his great contribution towards Bengali Literacy World.
He regularly participation the literacy discussion organised
by Sahitya Academy, Paschimbanga Bangla Academy, calcutta University,
Viswabharati University etc. as an honourable guest Lecturer. |

graduation course in Central University Assam.
