Sikha Roy hasbeen born in a renowned singing & cultural family. She has started her golden career since very early age from her first Guru her father - famous singer Lt. Sailendra Nath Banerjee. Then she has taken talim on classical sangeet from famous Lt. Sunil Sarkar. She has completed her sixth year certificate course on classical song. Apart from she is very much specialised on Najrulgeeti. She is a renowned singing professional on Modern Songs through many prestigious stage performances, Corporate programmes in & around Kolkata, West Bengal, India and abroad. In 1995, she has made a strong stage performance in Moscow, Rasia which is till date very popular. She oftens performs at Bangladesh, Singapore etc.

Apart from her regular performances in prestigious programmes, she is now teaching on classical songs as a music teacher.
Moreover, as an actress, she has made some commercial films & documentary films like "Joy Bangla" (As heroine Role) etc.
