The promoters of BFI are graduates of leading Indian Institutions like NT Kharagpur, IIM Calcutta and Presidency College, Calcutta. They all have over 30 years of industrial as well as consultancy experience which ensures top quality education to the students.

Mr. Devasis Gupta, Director of the Centre, is a graduate of I IT" Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta. After initially working in the Merchant Banking Division of Grindlays Bank (now Standard Chartered Bank) Mr. Gupta has been involved in Consultancy for a large number of domestic and international organizations. He has also conducted consultancy projects for International organizations like the World Bank and IFAD (International Fund for Agricultural Development an UN promoted organization). Mr. Gupta is the Vice Chairman of IIM Calcutta Alumni Association and is also a visiting faculty of a number of Management Institutes. He is also a Member of the Board of Advisors for the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM) PGDM program.

Mrs. Paramita Gupta is a graduate of Presidency College, Calcutta and has done her Masters degree from Jadavpur University. She is a B.Ed, from Calcutta University and has been associated with organizing computer education centres and in imparting computer education to leading schools. Mrs. Gupta is also a Governing Body member of Concern for Calcutta    an NGO involved in activities for the betterment of Calcutta.

Mrs. Kaveri Narang is a graduate of Miranda House, New Delhi and has done her Post Graduation from IIM Calcutta. After working with BOC Ltd. in the Corporate Planning division for over a decade, Mrs. Narang joined BFI and was involved in organizing the computer education division. Mrs. Narang is also a visiting faculty with a large number of Management Institutes. Mrs. Narang is a member of the Executive Committee of IIMC Alumni Association.
