Rama Gupta:
Rama Gupta is the famous writer of the modern Bengali Literary World. She was Born on 30th October, 1926. She had spent her early age in Danapur of Bihar. She had grown up in the ever-free nature which had been reflected on her open mind. She had started her literary creations since her very little age. Her first writting creation was published on the magazine, ‘Pathsala’, edited by Naren Deb. Her writings were published the magazine,’Parag’, edited by Dr. Ajit Kumar Dey. She had won the prizes on short-story writings. Many more of her Stories, Poems, essays, Comics etc had been published on many famous Literary paper on “Utbadhan”, on popular news-paper like ‘Bartaman’, ‘Aajkaal’, ‘Basumati’, ‘Sananda’ etc. Her poems had been published in Hindi also. Her writing creations were also published on different journals of America. She had visited foreign countries like America. She is the wife of Doctor Ram Chandra Gupta. She has achieved the award sahitya shree from Akhil Bharatiya Bhasa Sahitya Sammelan (2007), the award from Sanskar Bharati, (South Howrah Branch) (2006)
