Ceramics and Consultancy Services (NCCS) is a brain child of S N Laha,
who has very strong academic background, B.Tech.
in Ceramics CU, 1967 and MTech. In Metallurgy /
IIT Kanpur 1969 (1st IITian with Ceramics/
Material Science Specialisation) M.I Refractory
Engineer (UK), Research Scholar, Russia (1974
–75), and Chartered Engineer, Fellow of Indian
Inst. Ceramics.
Mr. Laha is recipient of numerous prestigious
Awards :
The Indian Ceramics Socity Award
Refractory Technologist of the year, 2005 for
his significant contribution for the Development
of Refractory Science & Techonology.
M.G Bhagat Award from all India Pottery Manufacture's
Assocition for his significant contribution in
the field of Ceramics and Allied Industries Sanitaryware,
Stoneware Pipes etc.
National Science Day Award - 2010.
The company is headed
by highly dynamic technocrat, Mr.S.N.Laha and
assisted by group of Refractory and Ceramic professionals
with strong occupational background spanned over
35 yrs in India (Tata Steel, TRL, Otto
India, Somanys, Bengal Energy, ECL etc.) and
abroad (Eastern/ Western Europe; USSR,
