Studied Painting and Graphic Art (Serigraphy), Kalabhavana, Visvabharati, Santiniketan.     

SOLO SHOW :- 9 shows in Santiniketan, Kolkata, Chennai and Dhaka.

PARTICIPATION :- in several group shows in Santiniketan, Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, London, Canada, Singapore, Kualalampore, Geneva and including Festival of India in USA, Calcutta Festival of Arts, Viswa
Banga Sanmelan etc, along with many Art Camps (workshops) in Kolkata, Ranchi, Jamshedpore, Hydrabad, Chennai, Pondicherry and Mahabaleswar.

AWARDS :- got Best Exhibit Award in Graphic Art and in Painting, State Academy of Art & Culture, West Bengal, and Academy of Fine Arts,Kolkata, in Graphic Art.   

In the COLLECTION : - Park Hotel, Hotel Hindusthan International, Kolkata. Chola Sheraton, Chennai, Taj Krishna,Tourisim Depertment, Hydrabad. US Library of Congress, Lalit Kala Akademy, National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi.  And many private collections in the country and abroad.  Renoun Artists  like late Somnath Hore and late Biswarup Bose (son of late Nandalal Bose) liked him much. He is closely associated  with Sri Rabin Mondal, Sri Jogen Chowdhury,  Sri Prakash Karmakar, Sri Sunil Das along with other  reputed Artists of the country.
