Musical Education & Achievements : Learning music since very childhood. Received training in various genres of Bengali Songs from Ashis Gupta, Sailen Mukhopadhyay, Manabendra Mukhopadhyay, Chandidas Maal, Chhabi Ban dyopadhyay, Utpala Goswami, Adhir Bagchi etc. Recieved training in Indian Classical Music from Debi Ranjan Banerjee and Krishna Chandra Banerjee.

Qualified as M.A in Vocal Music(Bengali Song) from Rabindra Bharati University.
                                  
Became popular as a Song-Writer & Singer in the year 1993 when his debut Album 'CHHOTTO KHABOR' was released from Pan Music. He appeared in the musical scenario as one of the remarkable exponent of the new genre of Bengali Song of the 90's which is better known as the 'Jibanmukhi Gaan', though he always preferred to be known as a singer of Modern Bengali Song than to Jibanmukhi Gaan. However, since 1993 Kazi Kamal Nasser has been sincerely working in the sphere of Bengali Song as lyricist, composer and singer. His other Albums were cut from H.M.V (Anyo Galpo Baley), UD Series (Kemon Achhen?), Cozmik (Ichchhe Phiruk) etc.

All eminent singers of the younger generation have sung his compositions. To name a few of them are Srikanto Acharya, Lopamudra Mitra, Indranil Sen, Shampa Kundu, Rupankar, Swagato, Saikat Mitra, Sriradha Banerjee, Kabir Suman, Shreya Ghoshal etc.

To mark the new millenium in the year 2000, Sagarika Acoustronics Ltd. produced an album named 'ANYO GAANER SIMANAAY'. Kazi Kamal Nasser was assigned by the Company to compose all the 10 numbers of songs which were rendered by many eminent singers of our time. This album brought fame for Kamal.

Kazi Kamal Nasser was nominated for the 'Best Lyricist's Award' of the Ananda Sangit Samman  given by the Ananda Bazar Patrika Ltd. in 2003.

Kamal has also set music for two very popular animation VCD namely 'LAKSHMANER SHAKTISHEL'  and 'TIN BONDHU O RAJKUMAR'  by Sukumar Roy, which were also published by Sagarika.

Recently, Kamal has worked as co-music director for the documentary film 'KABITAR  KOLKATA' by Amal Ghosh.

Kamal has been working for many Television productions, Radio & T.V Jingles, etc.

Kamal has been performing as singer on stage since long. He has performed in almost all districts of West Bengal, He was invited twice to Mumbai to perform for the Presidency College Alumni Association. Recently he had been invited to Agartala, Tripura to join the Kolkata-Agartala Utsab.

Nowadays, he is also performing Rabindra Sangit. His first Rabindrasangit Album 'LUKALE BOLEI' was released from Ananyo Music in the last Puja. Presently he is working for his next Rabindrasangit Album, which will be released shortly.
