Mira Bala, a literary Personality, of Bengal, was born on 1952 at the village named Jhampa sitnated on the bank of the rever, Kapotaksha of Jessare District of present Bangladesh. She was born in a very cultural and educated family. But she had to be settled in India with her family at her age of only ten years during the so-called risky period of both Bengal. She had studied at Bagda High School. She had successfully Completed the Graduation from Bongaon Dina Bandhu College in 1973. She passed the B.Ed. examination from Gobardanga College. She had completed the M.A. from Calcutta University. In her professional texture, She is haolding the service of a teacher in Chondpara Nimna Buniadi Primary School. She is whole- heartedly devoted in teaching the childrens to produce the better students of tomorrow her emotions, thinking are very much surrounded by the children.

For that reason, her literary creations are very natured, simple and sweety. Her literary creations are based on strong writing, Poetry etc. Credentially, she is a popular recitor, an elocutionist and a dramatist also. She is a vocal singer. She is very much active as a social worker and is strongly effective in the leftist political movements. She is an active member of Paschim Banga Gana Tantrik Mahila Samity”. She is engaged in organizing various types of social activities and sports events. She is attached with many literary organization like “Biswa Banga Sahitya Sanmelon”. She has a vast envolvement for the children specially for the poor, disabled childrens.
