Samatat Sanstha is registered under W. B. Societies Regn. Act 1961 (Regn. No. S/12269 dated 31/10/72).
The Sanstha can accept foreign donations vide FCRA Cert. No. 147120431 dated 5/1/95, issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Gol;
Donation to Samatat Sanstha is exempted from Income Tax as per Section 80G of Income Tax Act, 1961.
The editor of quarterly Samatat was felicitated by Paschim Banga Bangla Academi in 1998 as an eminent editor.
