Our High-Definition range of Digital Hearing Aids contains the latest, most advanced, sound processing technology to replicate as near-normal hearing as is currently possible.
Incorporating tiny computer micro-processors, today’s hearing aids are capable of not only clearly amplifying the sounds you would otherwise struggle to hear but many models are also able to suppress much of the unwanted background noise and eliminate most of the distortion and feedback previously experienced with traditional analogue hearing aids.
Many hearing aids, especially from our ‘Better’ and ‘Best’ ranges, can adapt automatically to the changes in your listening environments and adjust their performance accordingly to maintain the optimum hearing experience. For example, if you go from a quiet environment to a noisy one, the hearing aid will automatically enhance speech frequencies and reduce background noise to help you hear people speaking more clearly. Other options include specific programs for telephone, outdoor (i.e. wind noise reduction) and even for listening to music. Our Hearing Aid Audiologist will be happy to explain how each feature works and which features are available on which models. |
