Brief About Her :
Debarati was born in the year 1985 in the celebrated Mukherjee family of Kolkata. She showed her immense talent in music from her very childhood days and got nurtured with musical training by her grandfather Sangeetacharya Siddheswar Mukherjee, an eminent personality in Bengali Music and by her maternal grandfather Shri Nikhil Chandra Chakraborty who was a professor of Music of great repute. She is further trained in Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrulgeeti, Modern Bengali Songs, by her mother Smt. Patrali Mukherjee, a music artist and teacher and her aunt Smt. Krishna Mazumder a renowned artist of Bengali Music and a music teacher. She is now taking training of classical music under the guidance of Shree Jainul Abedin, Sangeet research academy scholar. Debarati has performed many a times in ALL INDIA RADIO and TELEVISION programmes. She is winner of many music competitions of repute.
