Attention Problem

Some autistic children seem to be totally aloof of the external environment whereas others show intermittent engagement. Most of the autistic children have some sort of impairment in joint attention. Hence, autistic children are unable to use eye contact and point for sharing experiences and things with others. They show less empathy for other people’s feelings. They are also unable to comprehend what others think [Theory of Mind].
