Nikhil Debnath was born in at Bagerhat in Khulna District of Bangladesh He arrived in Kolkata at the age of thirteen. His struggle for survival started at that tender age. Death of hardships had to surrender to his settle and strength within. The poet which resided in his great developed and expressed itself after the daily tail & tribulations. This is visibly demonstrated in his writings. He is not only confined to poetry but he is a lyricist as well his poems have been published in various magazines. Nabakallal, Aratrik, Lekhak Samabesh, Great Bengal are some of the Magazine which contain his poetry. Apart from this his book of poems “Athocho Nirbasito Ami” is well known.
