courts of summary jurisdiction which deal with matrimonial

WHAT CONSTITUTES A MARRIAGE LEGALLY?

Definition. The legal union of a
couple as spouses. The basic elements of a marriage are: (1)
the parties' legal ability to marry each other, (2) mutual
consent of the parties, and (3) a marriage contract as

ARE YOU LEGALLY MARRIED AFTER 7 YEARS?

Despite much belief to the
contrary, the length of time you live together does not by
itself determine whether a common law marriage exists. No
state law or court decision says seven years or ten years
of cohabitation is all that is needed for a common law
marriage. It's only one factor the court may consider.
WHAT IS MATRIMONIAL SYSTEM?
Matrimonial regimes, or
marital property systems, are systems of property
ownership between spouses providing for the creation or
absence of a marital estate, and if created, what
properties are included in that estate, how and by whom it
is managed, and how it will be divided and inherited at
