EAT MORE FRUITS AND VEGETABLES
Your diet should include a variety in fruits and vegetables, which contain nutrients and phytonutrients to help prevent heart disease. Try to eat at least five servings of fruits and vegetables per day.
REDUCE SATURATED FAT INTAKE
Saturated fats contribute to the plaque buildup inside your arteries and raise blood levels of cholesterol. Butter, lard, whole milk, cream animal fat and bacon are especially high in saturated fat, as are snacks like chips, biscuits, crackers and pastries. Read labels and chose the foods with the lowest saturated fat possible.

Keep your heart clean and drug-free.
