Cone Beam Computed Tomography

CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) had been introduced in Europe way back in 1996 and in the USA in the early 2000s. It has, since then, been a revolutionary invention that changed the world's dental radiology panorama. In the past couple of years, it has made its advent in the Indian market. With its various benefits for both dentists and patients, CBCT has been quite gripped the diagnostic beat in Kolkata. CBCT is a faster and safer version of conventional CT scan. The use of a cone-shaped x ray beam and size of scanner, the radiation time and dose to the patient is considerably reduced.
