Srirup Saha, dancer choreographer and teacher of the "Kinkini Nritya-O-Sangeet Kala Mandir" of Kolkata, In West Bengal, was born on 12th May of 1977. In North Kolkata. Father Government Employee and mother good classical singer.
Studied at Holi Child Institution and at Taki House (Boys) in Kolkata. Joined at Bangabashi College for his Degree Course. He learnt vocal music under Pandit Sushil Bose and creative dance under Ananda Sankar and Tanusree Sankar. He learnt Kathak under Dr. Jayanta Mukherjee (Prof. of Rabindra Bharati University).
He has choreographed numerous ballets for various conferences and festivals. Some major Ballets are Arpan, Strom, Dreamland and Village & City.
Srirup has toured and performed in Mumbai, Vishakapatnam, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Meghalaya & in various places in Bengal along with his troupe.
Many Organization from different places of India has recognised Srirup's work and has awarded him in numerous occasion with awards, certificates and he has also won many rewards in various competitions from all over India.
He even worked with world famous dancer from U.S.A. Mr. Andre Tyson to learn and understand "Hotten Style" of dancing. Now Srirup Saha is choreographer & organizing his own Dancing Troupe "Kinkini Nritya-O-Sangeet Kalamandir".
