Prepared study material on Mandame Bovery for the Department of English, Indira Gandhi Open University, 2006

Prepared teaching material for Mademe Bavary for the Department of English, Indira Gandhi Open University. Many of the texts assigned to me in the Department of English, University of Calcutta are French, German, Spanish. The Enlightenment  course in M. Phil also involves a substantial acquaintance with French literature and history. I teach these topics in such a way that the students appreciate the texts in the original languages, as well as following them in English. To this end, I have developed a methodology.

                                                                       

Involvement with Students:

Taking special tutorial classes students of Modern European Classics and the explaining original texts in English. Holding special discussions with students and explaining the difficulties. Evaluating answer papers by individual students and suggesting improvements. Acting as the Presiding Officer in elections to the Students Unions.

Extra curricular activities:

Presiding over and judging competitions by students subjects such as Debate, Quizz, Elocution, Short Story writing.

President of the Sarat Chandra Memorial Committee, organized by the students.
