REWIREMIND consists of psychiatrists and psychologists and highly trained yoga instructors with extensive experience.

Our founder members are Dr. R .K. Brahma, Mr. Subhra jyoti Ray and Dr. Suchandra Brahma

Dr.R.K.Brahma, F.R.C.P.(Eden.), F.R.C.Psych(Lond),F.R.S.M(Lond),D.P.M(Eng.). NeuroPsychartist.

Qualified from Calcutta University- MBBS with Honours, Awards and Gold medal, then proceeded to U.K while working as Deputy R.P at R.G.Kar Medical college Hospital. While in U.K. initially for couple of years he worked in general medicine, He was also attached to Institute of neurology in London then he obtained his MRCP(Edin.) and DPM(Lond.).He then Became Senior Register at the academic department The London Hospital under Prof.Sir.Desmond Pond. Before joining The London Hospital he also worked for a period in neurosurgery in London. Next he was appointed as a consultant psychiatrist at WhippsCross University Hospital and Claybury Hospital , later he became chairman of both of these hospitals and Hon.Senior Lecturer of University College Hospital, London. He also held various posts as lecturer, trainer and advisor in various organisations including The Royal college of Psychiatrists(Lond.), North East Thames,regional health authority of London. He also became Chairman of British Medical Assotiation(BMA)-North East Thames region of London. After taking early retirement he return to India in 1998 and established Neuro Psychiatric Institute - UMA NALINI MERY CLINIC AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE and has been Hony. Medical Director since its inception and continuing very actively till to date. This institute caters for out patients, day patients and indoor patients offering all kinds of modern Drug therapy, Behaviour therapy, Psychotherapy, Counselling and various therapeutic procedures. He is the only guest faculty in psychiatry of Calcutta University based at R.G.Kar Medical College Hospital. He contributes in National and Internal Conferences on Psychiatry. He has also been honoured by Prestigious awards from India while still working overseas as a NRI.

Mr.Subhra jyoti Ray, YIC(sVYASA, Bangalore)

He is a graduate from Calcutta University. Practicing Yoga for stress and memory disorders as well as various psychiatric /psychosomatic conditions in UNMClinic&Research Insititute for last 14years. Before that he took training in Yoga from Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samastha (A deemed University),Bangalore. He Worked as a Physiotherapist in Geriatric clinic and Stroke Clinic in IPGME&R, SSKM Hospital, PG, Kolkata. And was also attached to the Dept.of Rheumatology, IPGME&R, SSKM Hospital, PG.

Dr. Suchandra Brahma, MD, is a psychiatrist trained in the USA. 

After completing her MBBS from medical college Calcutta, she joined Mayo Graduate School to pursue a master’s degree in Psychopharmacology. She then joined Wayne State University to continue with her MD program in Psychiatry. She has since worked as a consultant psychiatrist at Wayne State University, and as a private psychiatrist in the suburbs of Detroit, MI. A two year course in psychotherapy from the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute helped in all round completion of education. After practicing in the US for a few years she returned to Kolkata to set up a small practice in psychiatry and psychotherapy. She also runs a small NGO helping mentally ill homeless women get off the streets of Kolkata. Having come in close contact with children with difficulties in academics she has been able to set up a successful team to help these children with comprehensive support, using medications, individual therapy and if needed special educators, to bring them up to the standard, often exceeding expectations.

Ms.Sutapa Bose, Psychologist, PGDHRM

She completed her master degree in Applied Psychology (Specialisation- Clinical Psychology,Calcutta University).She used to spend time to a voluntary organisation at Kalyani, Nadia district along with Psychologists ,Social Workers and other team members and focussed on taking case history,analysis of the case etc.She took training from Mon Foundation,Kaikhali,Kolkata as Community Health Worker under guidance of various Psychiatrists. After that she joined in various N.G.O.s in Kolkata and surrounding areas worked as a Psychologists, Counsellor and Faculty of such professional courses. During her working periphery in Kolkata (H.D.R.I.),she used to work in a drug deaddiction hospital,counselling of migrant labours’ sexual health, pre and post test counselling of HIV affected people, psychotherapy for clients as well as their families, after care, rehabilitation and follow up.She worked in Society for Mental Health Care , Katwa ,Burdwan district,West Bengal as faculty of various professional courses –DSE(MR),PGDSE(MR); provided counselling support and psychometry for challenged as well as other children and adults.Then she worked as a Psychologist to Brotee and administered Psychometry if required.Then she attached almost 8 years to Don Bosco Ashalayam (DBA) , a social wing of Don Bosco. They run Street Children Rehabilitation Programme . She used to provide psychotherapy- group and individual,meditation,relaxation therapy,street based programme- outreach work in various streets and railway stations. She did career counselling for children. She also conducted training for other organisations. She helped to develop D.B.A’.s Child Protection Policy. She got training in life skill educacation and administered it for home children(DBA) and street children on the street. She attended Organisational Development Programme of DBA.She was sent to Bangladesh by DBA in 2004 as exposure visit(to met other partner NGO’s of Groupe Development ,European Union and   to interact with them). In 2005 she was sent to Bangladesh as representative of SARI-Q project(South Asian Regional Initiative and Equity Programme) of DBA. She worked in Sanlaap, a NGO of Anti Trafficking as a Counsellor. Apart from this she attended some interactive discussion cum training conducted by Jadavpur University. She worked in two schools at Howrah Hooghly district for students, parents along with teachers. She has the membership of EZPA(Eastern Zonal Psychological Association) and attended various training programmes- Counselling, Child Counselling, Transactional Analysis,Dementia etc.She has done Post Gratuate Diploma in Human Resource Management(PGDHRM) from IGNOU.Presently she does therapeutic practice for children,adults and all periphery of the society.
