Journey Of Drishti :
 

Drishti was personal drive and passion of Susmita Nag. It began with serving three children for first 12 months. The name itself suggests that the mission was to address the personal life style and self dignity of all challenged children in and outside India. It is an Eternal Truth that only education can’t be the key to a healthy life for any individual. Every individual need Love, Compassion, Respect, Recreation and above all a Purposefulinvolvement to live happily Drishti since perceptions thus has been focusing on Dignity to life for these children.Drishti is a movement seeking for a new horizon.

Susmita Nag was blessed to be the youngest daughter of DR.Tulsi Nag and DR. Adinath Nag. It was under their support that it was possible to get a single room in above mentioned venue to start the work. Monthly four classes were held on every Saturdays conducted by Susmita Nag without any staff to assist her. 

Today by the grace of God Drishti is looking after 25 to 30 such challenged children with 6 – 8 trained staff. Each staff is entitled to respective departments. Drishti till now have not seeked any economic support from any individuals. Drishti accepted help in kinds only (sweets, stationary, old toys).

For a purposeful living Drishti took the effort to include these children in several fairs like Kolkata BookFair /BiddhanagarMelaand many more. Drishti has also organized Annual tour 2 nights 3 days with these children to places like Bolpur, Digha, Bakkhali, and Jairambati for community training and 24hours observation.It is followed by detailed records of the children for parent guidance too. Today by the grace of God Drishti is a community and a society. (Society registration – WEST BENGAL ACT XXVI of 1961 S/2L/58345)

Drishti sincerely acknowledges individual who had been silently and humbly being beside activities of Drishti since start. Few people at present are no more. But Drishti believes they shall always blessed from above. They were nothing but to Drishti God in from good hearted individual.

DR. Pradipta Chottophadhaya has always being besides Susmita Nag as a true friend when she was jobless desperately wanted to open a concern herself.

Drishti made Tapas Roy chowdhury who believed in the fact that Susmita Nag is capable to start a centre herself. Late Tapas Roy Chowdhury triggered the Drishti.

Susmita Nag became friends Abirghorai at IICP the deep warm friendship by the grace of God is still as before. He was always with Drishti as a friend indeed. He was sincerely and helping individual at Karunamayee fair besides Susmita often took charge of the counter independently without his sincerely loves towards Drishti'sKarunamayee fair would not be successful. Abir’s genuine love towards Drishti’s mission is extremely unique.

By the grace of God late Ashok Mukherjee son – in – law of the famous director AnjanChowdhury. By profession criminal layer of Kolkata High Court. Made every lawful papers for DR. Adinath Nag willingly without any fees to gift CE-182 for this cause. He was admirer of Drishti activities.

Dristi acknowledges Amit Das gupta of Salt Lake Karunamayee fair for Drishti.

Mr. Biiswabandhu Chowdhury Ex. Administrator of Drishti to happy introduced to Debasish Sing at Salt Lake Pourasabha.

Mr. Biswajiban Chowdhury Ex. Principal of GurudasCollege and Ex. Chairman of Bidhannagar gladly wanted to inaugurate Salt Lake Drishti knowing its selfless activities.

Till date Drishti is sincerely obliged by the personnel warmth and support of Debasish Singh and Soumabhavo Gupta for various fruitful decision and advises for Drishti’s improvement and progress.

But last but not the least Drishti acknowledges many other officials of Bidhannagarpourasabha, Bidhannagarmela committee, Dayabhaddha for being besides Drishti till date.

When Drishti began it was the hard days when Susmita Nag was blessed to have beside her, Suravi Gupta and PinkiGhuha as the only trained teacher. Drishti was unable to pay more than rupees thousands to each of them. The sincerely love the cause the dream behind Drishti.
