Mr. Dipen Bhattacharya was born in calcutta in a very
reputated singing & cultural family. Being as a famous
folk singer. He started his singing career from his very
early childhood. He has got his emotional inspiration
from his first Guru, his father Lt. Shib Narayan Bhattacharya
(the so called flute player). He has got talim on classical
song from Lt. Biren Das. He has gained a lots of prestigeous
awards from various singing competition in his young age.
He has got talim on Rabindra Sangeet from famous singer
Maya Sen as her very intimate student.

He has passed the M.A. on Rabindra Sangeet in 1st class
from Rabindra Bharati University. He has learnt folk songs
from Music teacher Abhijit Basu. Now he is performing
a lots of prestigious professional programmes, corporate
programmes, cultural programmes. He is a regular singer
on many TV serials like commercial, CTVN, Channel Vision
etc. He has made lots of film songs in bengali film &
TV serials. Now he is a renowned professional singer as
well as a music teacher. His strong credential is also
as Music composer. His one of many cassets is on Traditional
folk song - Manush Bhajo

named Adarini Tarama directed by Subrata
Ghosh and also performed two songs in that VCD. It has
