Abhijit Chattopadhyay is a famous modern Singer (Specially on songs on "LokeNath Baba") since last 26 years. Apart from this he is renowned as Music Director under whom many of our reputed Bengali Singers has been performing their highlighting performances. Basically, he was born on 24th October, 1963 in a very cultural family. His mother Smt. Pratima Chattopadhyay was a very famous Rabindra Sangeet Singer. His aunt Padmaza Naidu was the first and only the Lady Governor of West Bengal. He is the grand-son of historical freedom-fighter Sarojini Naidu. He starts his singing from his very child-hood under this highly cultural family atmosphere. He has made song contribution on Bengali singing arena.

In the year 2011, Mr. Abhijit Chattopadhyay was awarded with 'Sahitya Bhusan' from Bangladesh Poet's Club, along with honours from "Human Rights Review Society" and "Swarna Padak" as an Indian from Bangladesh for his dedicated works and achievements in Bengali Music.
