MANUFACTURE OF HUME PIPES AND ALLIED PRODUCTS

The land has already been purchased at Barasat for manufacture of Hume Pipes. The procedural formalities are in the process of finalization and it is expected to complete the Project by the end of this year.

• Perforated Concrete Pipe, Paver Block of different designs, Kerbs, Hollow Brick, Tiles and many more other Cemented Concrete Products.

Complied all IS Code as required in respect of Raw Material such as IS 458:1988, IS 458:2000, IS 458:2003, IS 383:1970,IS 456:2000, IS 3597:1998, IS 10262:1982, SP-23, IS 343,432,516,783. The specimens of the Concrete pipes are subject to the following tests as per I.S. 3597:1998(second revision incorporating amendment No.1 of March 2003)

1. Three Edge Bearing Test
2. Absorption Test
3. Hydrostatic Pressure Test
4. Permeability Test
5. Straightness Test

The Precast concrete pipes with reinforcement shall be made as per Indian Standard Specification formulated by The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS:458-2003) (fourth revision) for maintaining quality of the product to confirm to prescribed pressure rating as follows :

• Working Pressure
• Site Test Pressure
• Hydrostatic Pressure
• Surge ( Water Hammer) Pressure
• Pipes are also manufactured to other international standards to suit a wide range of client's requirements.
