Born
on 1954.
Graduated from Govt. College of Art and Craft, Calcutta
in 1977,with first class in drawing and paintings
(Life, Nature, Mural).
Passed in Art Appreciation Examination from the University
of Calcutta in 1977.
Joined in leading newspaper organization in 1977 as a
staff artist.
Now working as Assistant Art Director in the same organization. |
| ABOUT
HIS WORKS : |
The
subject of my work springs from the real world. And my
imagination resides in the hazy world where the conscious
and the subconscious move freely. That’s why my
paintings are the paintings of solitude. Reflections of
subconciousness, the sound of nature’s purity sends
me on travels in solitude. Frequently, woman expresses
herself in the female form. This woman at times takes
the shape of divinity. |
