Profile of Mrs. Maya Bhattacharaya :

A little girl - champion in Yoga and Gymnastics found her way to the dancing arena. The young supple body with graceful movements of a gymnast and the inner passion for dance ultimately found her fulfillment in the form of Odissi Dance. This is the story of Maya - the performer per excellence.

Maya started training under Krishna Acharya in Kathak. She graduated with honours in Dance from Rabindra Bharati University Kolkata and her MA From the same University in Dance securing First Class. She has been trained in Bharantnatyam by Guru Khagendranath Barman, Professor of Dance (Bharatnatyam) of this University.

She received training in Odissi Dance under Pousali Banerjee , Sha r mila Biswas and Aloka Kanoonga, thereafter under Padmabibhusan Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra . She is an artist of Doordarshan Kendra at Kolkata.

Record breaking achievement :
Created History by winning best actress award five ti mes in a row in all India national drama Competition at Shimla . Al t ogether she has won 11 Best Actress award i n different drama Compitition.

Feature Film :
Acted in Gulbahar Singh's "DATTAK" Acted as one of the central characters in the prestigious film ANOKHA MOTI directed by Mr . Tapan Sinha. This film has been shown on television twice under Star Plus channel. Acted in TV Serial TITHIR ATITHI as Zarina Biwi .

           Mr Bhola Bhattacharya the man behind the renowned music band Sparsh of Kolkata. His guidance has taken Sparsh band to a great height of popularity and perfection. His band Sparsh compiled of highly talented musician like Bubai, Arghya, Roni, Amit, Sisir, Bubun, Somnath, Ujjal, Sekhar, Chandra is acclaimed band of Kolkata performing all over India and abroad successfully under the supervision of Mr. Bhola Bhattacharya.

          Bhola bhattacharya -young Bhola got introduced to Tabla at the age of only 9 year founding his first guru Late Ranjit Bose. Thus the musical journey of Bhola started at this tender age and on his way to a perfect Tabla player Bhola now turned to western music and got eminent drummer Mr. Victor Sreebes as his drum teacher. From here there was no stopping for Bhola Bhattacharya and he became India's one of the leading professional drummer playing music for eminent classical and modern singer like Pt. Jasraj, Pt. Birju Maharaj, Ustad Sabir Khan, Asha Bhosle, Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Kabita Krishna Murty, Md. Aziz, Sabbir Kumar and may more. He is playing music for renowned singer Mr Sivaji Chatterjee and Arundhati Holm Choudhury for the ten years regularly. Now a days his highly popular music band Sparsh.

          Mr bhola bhattacharya also take care of the show of social Hindi Drama (comedy & serious) directed by TV actor Mr Punnya Darshan Gupta under his banner Sparsh recently one feather is also added Bhola Bhattacharya Sparsh crown with shows of classical dance drama of eminent Odissi dancer disciple of Padmabhution late Sri Kelucharan Mahapatra, Singermoni Mrs. Maya Bhattacharya.
