- Only singer selected by AIR from WestBengal for performing in Akashvani Annual Awards at Yeshwantrao Chavan Pratishthan, Mumbai in Feb 2012.

And he is also running an organization named Kalayan Gunjara whose motto is to do creative work in the field of Bengali Music. They organise musical concert twice every year like ‘Bela Shesher Gaan’, ‘Nishit Rater Gaan’, ‘Purna Chander Mayai’, ‘Srabon Mongol’ based on Rabindranath Tagore’s and other renowned Bengali music composers songs. The productions are the brain child of Dr. Arun Kumar Basu, ex- HOD Bengali department in Rabindra Bharati university.
