• Performed an item "Biraha Dahana Dukho" based on Rabindra Sangeet on 10th May, 2012 at Ashutosh Memorial Hall, Kolkata.
• Staged-"Badhon Hara Brishti Dhara" on 4th June, 2011 at Birendra Manch, Shyambazar, Kolkata.
• Staged "Samanya Khati", on 12th June 2010 at Birendra Manch, Shyambazar, Kolkata.
• National award "Nritya Shiromani" from Cuttack Mahotsav National Dance & Music Festival in 2010.
• Performed solo Kathak recital and group Kathak along with students on 1st March, 2010 at Tyagraj Hall, Kolkata.
• Visited Japan for a programme named "Namaste India 2009" (Trade & Tourism Fair on 27.092009) in Tokyo - organized by "Incredible India" - a forum formed jointly by the Ministries of Tourism, Trade & Commerce - Govt, of India. Thereafter undertaken numerous workshops and dance training sessions for Japanese students in various cities of Japan.
• On 13th December 2008 had performed in the whole night long Subarna Jayanti Hall "Annual Classical Conference" organized by Haldia Musical Circle at Subarna Jayanti Hall. In the next day's newspaper - Ganashakti & The Statesman (Bengali Edition) glowing tributes about her performance was published.
• Performed solo Kathak recital at Tyagraj Cyan Sava, Hyderabad, organized by Kathak Kalakshetra, Andhra Pradesh in 2007 and in 2008.
• Composed and staged some unique choreography such as “Bajao Mohon Bansi” (based on Life of Krishna),Chirosokha (based on eternal friendship), Basontotsov (based on Holi) along with student.
• Performed Kathak recital in Kathak Mahotsav 2005 conducted by Kathak Kendra, Delhi. Has been invited to perform in a programme - "Varanasi" organized by Pandit Kishan Maharaj ji in 2005.
• Performed in Basanto Utsav organized by Kalashram, Delhi, in 2002,2003, and 2004.
• Srabani has been performed annually in Japan since 1997 where see put up solo performance and conducted workshops in the cities of Tokyo, Kyoto, Yo Ko Hama, Nagawa, Takushima and Fukuoka.
• Performed in the Indofapan Cultural Evening in 1996.
• Participated in the Indo-Finnish Cultural Evening in 1995.
• Inaugurated the International Festival of Non-verbal Arts in 1993 where Japan, Korea, Syria, Malaysia and Bangladesh participated.
• Srabani has been performing in different states of India since 1985.
• Her performances have been telecast several times on Kolkata Doordarshan since 1985. |
