DESIGN
Electric Winch Single/Double Drum type complete with Worm/Spur Reduction Gear Box of reputed Indian make with Rope Drum suitable to hold steel wire Rope driven by AC 440 Volts Electric Motor of reputed Indian Make and Reversing Starter
ROPE DRUM
Rope Drums shall be fabricated or Cast Steel. All fabricated Rope Drums shall be stress relieved. Grooving of Drums and other aspects shall be as per IS : 3938
ROPE SHEAVES
The diameter, grooving etc shall be calculated as per IS specifications
BEARINGS
The Bearings shall be made for impact and side thrusts. Grouped grease lubrication system for Bearings shall be provided wherever possible. The Bearings used will be of reputed make
BRAKES Electro - magnetic Brake will be provided
SHAFTS
Shafts and Axles shall have ample strength and rigidity and adequate bearing surfaces for their purposes
GEARS
The Gears used in Electric WINCH shall be machine cut and shall confirm to relevant Indian standard. All gearing shall be enclosed and provided with means for ample lubrication
