- The Calcutta University extended affiliation upto Honours standard from the academic session 1995-96.
- Extension for Post Graduate course in Music was accorded by the University of Calcutta from the academic session 2003-04.
- Ph.D courses fave been introduced in this College by the University of Calcutta w.e.f. the session 2009-2010.
