■ Combined Examinations −
Candidates willing to enter into Government Services, after completion of School Final Examination, should get themselves admitted into the Combined Course. This course will enable the students to appear most of the Competitive Examinations like the following:
1. P.S.C. (Clerkship) Exam., W.B
2. P.S.C. (Misc. Service) Exam, W.B
3. S.S.C. (Matric Level) Exam, Central Govt.
4. S.S.C. (Graduate Level) Exam, Central Govt.
5. W.B.C.S. (Preliminary) Exam, W.B
6. Bank, L.I.C. Clerical Exam.
7. Railway Recruitment Board Exam. (Non-Technical)
8. Other Central Govt. Examinations like C.B.I. , Defence Service, C.R.P.F., B.S.F. etc.
The above examinations are held every year. So, aspiring students may secure jobs within a period of two years if they pursue their studies diligently and sincerely. Laying aside their hesitations, students should make a firm decision and take admission in this course at the earliest.
■ School Service Commission −
The West Bengal School Service Commission conducts Regional Level Selection Test (RLST) for recruitment to the post Assistant Teachers in different recognized non-govt. aided High/Higher Secondary/Junior High Schools and High/Junior Madrasahs. They also conduct examination for recruitment for the Post of Librarian and Non-Teaching Staff. More than 3 lakhs candidates appear at each of the said RLST conducted by the Commission. We provide a unique preparatory assistance to the prospective candidates. Vacancies are mainly in Bengali Medium Schools & Madrasahs. Candidates applying for School/Madrasah with particular language as medium must have the language in Secondary School Level under WBBSE/Council
■ MAT (Management Aptitude Test) −
It is an objective type test designed and developed by AIMA (All India Management Association) to ascertain the aptitude of the candidate to undergo Post Graduate Programme in Management in different B-Schools all over India. It is conducted in February, May, September and December every year. The examination has three main components namely Written Test, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Written Test consists of 200 questions with Time Duration 150 minutes. It comprises (i) Language Comprehension; (ii) Mathematical Skills; (iii) Data Analysis & Data Sufficiency; (iv) Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and (v) Indian & Global Environment.
■ JEMAT (Joint Entrance For Management Aptitude Test) −
The West Bengal University of Technology conducts JEMAT for the candidates who are aspiring for MBA in different B-Schools and Colleges / Universities in West Bengal. The examination Format is more or less same as MAT.
■ JEMAT (Joint Entrance For Computer Application) −
Admission to MCA course offered by different Govt./Public Engineering Colleges, Universities and Institutes under West Bengal State is made through JECA. Candidates who are Indian Citizen and who have either passed or appearing at the Bachelor Degree final examination in any discipline from any recognized University with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subject in 10+2+3 pattern. The examination consists of Two parts namely (i) Aptitude Test (Reasoning, Problem Solving, Quantitative Analysis, Discrete Quantities, Data Interpretation) and (ii) Mathematics (Analytical Geometry, Higher Algebra, Set Theory, Calculus, Probability and Statistics) |
