Shyam Sunder Saha was basically motivated himself to give the city of Kolkata an institute where under a same roof all types of Indian Classical Dance can be taught with utmost care. Mr. Saha though being a businessman, has an uncanny knack and love for Indian Classical Dance, he himself in his early parts of his life persuaded and performed Indian Dance, Drama Acting and Recitation. His thirst and desire to perform in highest order was not quenched due certain unavoidable circumstances. He therefore had a keen interest to serve Indian art and culture from the bottom of his heart.
