Swami Vivekananda told, “Education is the manifestation of perfection already in man”. Keeping this saying of Swamiji in mind, Alambazar Math set up a kindergarten school by name Satyananda Siksha Mandir in the year 1976 at this Math campus. 

Apart from celebrating Annual Function, Annual Sports, Annual Outing, Cultural Programme and Annual Drawing Competition the school generally celebrates the Birth Day of Netaji on 23rd January, Republic Day on 26 January, Birth Day of Rabindranath Tagore on 25th Baisakh, Independance Day on 15th August, Birth Day of Vidyasagar on 26th September, Children Day on 14th November each year.

Satyananda Siksha Mandir is a co-educational primary school. Children of the local area, mainly from lower middle class, middle class 0and BPL families come to take their education in this school. Children from minority communities, too, come to study here. The school has a strength of 200 students on an average. It runs in two sessions - morning and day. It has got 12 faculty members. All of them are educated and well trained in Montessori Method of teaching. 2 matrons are there to look after the kids in school.

To justify the progress of the students a weekly test has been introduced in each classes besides having three main exams. in a year (1st quarterly, half yearly and annualy). The inherent qualities of the students are found out and adequate supports are given to develop their fascinations. All round development of the learners is the first priority of the school.

Apart from providing formal education, students are imparted with the knowledges of Music, Yoga, Physical Training (Bratachari) and Drawings. 2 specialists in Yoga and Music have been engaged for these purposes.

Students are always inspired to participate in differents programmes organised by the school time to time. So gradation and prize distribution system were introduced. Talented and ranking-holder students are rewarded each year for segments like Annual Exam., Annual Sports and Annual Drawing competition. The school has a good academic records and reputation in the area. Minimum tuition fees are charged from the students keeping their poor financial conditions in mind.
