Cardiology (or cardiovascular medicine) is the internal medicine subspecialty that deals with problems of the cardiovascular system: the heart, arteries, and veins. The origins of the word cardiology come from the Greek word kardia, meaning heart or inner self. Cardiologists must graduate from an approved medical college - MBBS; complete a three years' training in General Internal Medicine - MD (Medicine), and a further three years' training in Cardiology- intervention and non-invasive Cardiology-DNB (Cardiology)
As a trained and qualified Cardiologist with a vast work experience of more than 30 years in India and UK I am one point contact for management of various heart ailments and life-style diseases. As an interventional Cardiologist I can deal with most common Cardiology emergency like heart attack and various Coronary Artery Disease conditions.
