Paulami Bhattacharya is a Radio Jockey working in All India Radio, Kolkata F.M division ( FM Rainbow 107 mgh and FM Gold 100.2 mgh ). She did her Master in Bengali Literature from Calcutta University is 2003 and there after left teaching job to dedicate her time to poetry. Having her own school "Oikantika" at Barasat.

Paulami is a deciple of renowned reciter Shri Amitava Bagchi under whom she trained for sixteen years. She also acted for five years in stage theatre 'Pancham Baidik' directed by Smt Saoli Mitra. Paulami has developed her own school for recitation called 'Oikantika' based on her love for literature and poetry.
