This 16 year boy with multiple relapses of Hodgkin's Lymphoma underwent Bone Marrow Transplant under my supervision recently.On 8th and 9th of May, the Stem cells were infused.The next 10 days were an absolute nightmare as he suffered from profound marrow suppression and we kept battling a multi-drug resistant bug ravaging his body. At last the welcome life-giving Neutrophils appeared in his blood and peering down the microscope, I could see those precious cells floating in his blood.
