Candidate is allowed to go home after 1 hour of surgery. He can have normal food at night. Patients are advised to lie normally with 2 pillows to keep head lifted. Post treatment medicines are given for 7 days like antibiotic, analgesic, etc. Candidate is allowed to have bath after 2 days daily and also to shampoo with baby shampoo in every alternate day. He/she can join to work place on the next day. Stich of the scalp is to be removed after 10-12 days or need not necessary if the absorbable material is used.

Hair roots those are transplanted, some of the new transplanted hair roots may fall between 4-6 post-operative weeks but later all hair roots including fallen roots starts to grow between 3-6 months time. Once the growth starts then the hairs can be shampooed, cut, even can be shaved.
